Home Remedy For Vaginal Odor - Cure BV Naturally At Home

Having an unpleasant smelling vagina can be very embarrassing indeed. For some women, the problem is so severe that the condition makes them reluctant to socialize, in the knowledge that others may become aware of the smell. Although in some cases, the problem disappears as quickly as it came, for many the issue is very different, with some suffering on and off for years.

Fortunately, a simple home remedy for vaginal odor may be all that is needed to get you feeling fresh again.

Firstly, do not use perfumed products around the vaginal area-this goes for deodorants and feminine wipes, not just soaps. Perfumes can irritate the tissues of the vagina, causing an imbalance of the natural secretions and this can lead to a fishy smelling odor.

Next, ensure that you always wear panties which are made from a natural fiber such as cotton. Synthetic fabrics tend to trap in moisture and warmth-both of which can not only contribute to a build up of odors, but can also provide the ideal breeding ground for bacteria.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
    A question for doctors?
For a quite a few months I have been suffering from this body odor like fecal and rotten eggs, a bit like sewer which seems to be worse when I get nervous or stressed. I also seem to have a bitter taste in my mouth. Some people say it could be TMAU or leaky gut syndrome. But here is what I have found out. Please read below.

I have read that having a tooth filling or silver amalgam can hinder your digestive tracts from properly breaking down sulphuric compounds and pushing it through the lining of the intestines and ultimately being released through our skin and lungs, or breath. Well I noticed this odor soon after I had a big filling in my tooth. I have read about other people who suffer from this rotten egg body odor who claim that they also got the smell after they had a tooth filling.

Are GP's aware that a tooth filling like silver amalgam etc can cause this odor in your body for whatever reason?

    • ANSWER:
Alkaline soap with baking soda & vodka will kill the bacteria. Then put on some calamine lotion (zinc) in all the places that collect moisture. Stop using deodorants and anti-perspirants, they are very bad for you. Also wash all of your clothes in Borax, an all natural laundry detergent and never use fabric softeners, they leave behind chemicals on your skin and help cause the stink!"

Dr. yahoo, did you get your license from a cracker jack box or a cereal box?

  3. QUESTION:
    Need advice from doctors?
For a while now I have suffered from a mild body odor like fecals. It's the kind of odor that smells like someone has passed wind. It doesn't matter how much you wash, this seems to be an internal problem. Also for quite a long time now I have sensed a kind of bitter taste in my mouth. Here is a list of what this bad odor can be related to...

    TMAU (Fish Odor Syndrome)
    Candida/Bacterial overgrowth
    Leaky gut syndrome
    Congested liver
    Heavy metal poisoning

Doctors, what do you think is most likely to cause this odor and what kind of tests would you do to help diagnose this problem? I have come across many people who said they had to see many different doctors before they were taken seriously. Some people have this odor so bad they want to commit suicide.

    Any advice?

    • ANSWER:
My only advice is go talk to an actual M.D.
I wouldn't trust many 'doctors' on here, sorry.
